The Office of Lorain County Engineer Ken Carney is currently in the process of collecting survey data and completing environmental studies to facilitate the design of the final construction documents associated with the replacement and upgrade of the traffic signal at North Ridge and Baumhart Roads in Brownhelm Township and the City of Vermilion. Construction is expected to begin in the spring of 2028 and traffic will be maintained during the work.

The Office of Lorain County Engineer Ken Carney is currently in the process of collecting survey data and completing environmental studies to facilitate the design of the final construction documents associated with the resurfacing and safety improvements to West Ridge Road between State Route 113 and Middle Ridge Road in Elyria and Amherst Townships. Construction is expected to begin in the spring of 2027 and traffic will be maintained during the work.

The Office of Lorain County Engineer Ken Carney is currently in the process of collecting survey data and completing environmental studies to facilitate the design of the final construction documents associated with the resurfacing of Vermilion Road between State Route 113 and approximately one half mile south of North Ridge Road in Brownhelm and Henrietta Townships. Construction is expected to begin in the spring of 2027 and traffic will be maintained during the work.

District 9 of the Ohio Public Works Commission is accepting applications for membership on its Natural Resource Assistance Council. The terms of four (4) current members are set to expire on September 21, 2026
