Public Notice - Eaton Township

The Office of Lorain County Engineer Ken Carney is currently in the process of collecting survey data and completing environmental studies to facilitate the design of the final construction documents associated with the resurfacing of Durkee Road between Capel Road and State Route 82 in Eaton Township. Construction is expected to begin in the spring of 2027 and traffic will be maintained during the work. Additional right of way will not be required to construct the project. The estimated cost of the improvement is $496,060 of which 80% is being funded through a grant from the federal highway administration.
