The highway garage is the responsibility of the County Engineer. Its purpose is to maintain county equipment. This includes everything from chain saws through heavy-duty trucks, loaders, road graders, and ditching machines. We maintain the fueling facility for all county vehicles including the Sheriff’s Department. The garage has 6 mechanics that maintain this County Equipment along with a parts department that carries an inventory of fast-moving items plus large truck tires.
